People wait for food and clothes on January 12, 2017, after their village Ternove e Vogel is blocked from the snow for several days. Cold and icy weather has swiped Albania over the last week causing at least 8 deaths, hundreds of fractures from slippages on icy roads, frozen water pipes and water tanks as well as left isolated many villages in the northeastern monotonous part of the small Mediterranean nation. Schools have been interrupted and even the national theatre suspended its calendar due to frozen water pipes in its central heating system. GENT SHKULLAKU / AFP
